Prolific goalscorer who joined the club from Bostik Premier side Hornchurch in May 2019.

Purcell is the Urchins' all-time record goalscorer, notching 149 times in 279 appearances.

Having played youth team football for Gillingham, he went on to play for the likes of Ebbsfleet United, Braintree Town, York City, Dartford and Tonbridge Angels.

Left that club in October 2019 having scored 6 goals in 13 appearances.

He joined Hornchurch from Margate in July 2013, going on to finish each of the six seasons he spent at Bridge Avenue as the club's top scorer.
