On Monday 18th April, we will welcome local rivals, Grays Athletic to Park Lane as we compete in the Pitching In Isthmian North Division, kick-off 3pm. This is our final scheduled home match of the 2021/22 season.
This has all the ingredients to be a thrilling encounter. Just 2 games remain and we currently sit in 2nd position, and we will be aiming to stay there so that we have home advantage in the forthcoming playoffs. Meanwhile, Grays Athletic sit just 1 point outside of the playoff places, so they'll be fighting to break into those places.
The two sides have already met this season when we triumphed 3-1 away from home.
We come into this match following a 1-1 draw away to Great Wakering Rovers on Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, Grays Athletic lost 2-0 to fellow playoff hopefuls, Brentwood Town.
The playoff dates to bear in mind are:
Tuesday 26th April (playoff semi-final)
Friday 29th April (playoff final)
Before this match we will be presenting the Supporters Player of the Year Award.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone associated with Grays a safe journey to and from the game, and an enjoyable afternoon. Also, a huge thanks to the Canvey fans for their support this season. It's been phenomenal and doesn't go unnoticed by players and management. Get right behind the boys as they aim to finish as high as they can! Come on Canvey!

Clubhouse Information
As previously mentioned; following the changes to the governments COVID restrictions, face coverings will now be optional when moving through our clubhouse. Our preference would be that people continue to wear masks, and we would encourage their use, although we will not be enforcing this.
The seating policy within the clubhouse has also been removed, meaning that supporters can sit or stand wherever they choose. We will however be maintaining the queuing system at the bar to purchase drinks.
