We are now down to our final 10 games of the league campaign, and this league is proving to be more competitive than ever. This league has proven that league positions are irrelevant as anyone can beat anyone on their day. This will be another good test for the Gulls as they aim to clinch a vital 3 points.

A fun fact for the Canvey fans - Witham's away kit happens to be exactly the same as our home kit (minus the badge of course).

Anyway, Witham come into this match on the back of a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to 6th placed Dereham Town. Whereas ourselves come into this match following a very impressive 4-0 win at home to Bury Town last weekend. We now occupy 2nd position and find ourselves just 1 point from poll position, having played 1 game more than Stowmarket above us.

The last time ourselves and Witham Town met was back in November at Park Lane when we triumphed 6-0. The Witham team includes a familiar face in the form of former Gull, Adam Vyse. We look forward to catching up with Adam.
