On Saturday 19th February, we will welcome Bury Town to Park Lane as we compete in the Pitching In Isthmian North Division, kick-off 3pm.
We enter this match following a 1-1 draw away to league leaders, Aveley. This was a great game full of spice and atmosphere, and was watched by nearly 700 people. We now have just 11 matches remaining, and it's looking pretty tight at the top, as we find ourselves in 3rd position, just 1 point from top.
Bury Town, who are currently managed by Canvey legend, Ben Chenery, come into this match following a dramatic 2-2 draw at home to an in from Maldon & Tiptree. As a result Bury now occupy 12th position.
Ourselves and Bury Town met earlier this season following Mark Bentley's departure to Southend United. This was Wellmen's first game in charge of the Gulls, and we secured an emphatic 5-1 win at Ram Meadow.
This has all the ingredients to be another thrilling match, and we cannot wait to welcome you all to Park Lane. We would like to wish everyone associated with Bury Town a safe journey to and from the match, and a pleasant afternoon. We would also like to thank the tremendous home support so far this campaign. The noise that the Yellow Army generates doesn't go unnoticed by the management, players and staff.

Clubhouse Information
The clubhouse will be open from 12:30, and live football will be televised.
As previously mentioned; following the changes to the governments COVID restrictions, face coverings will now be optional when moving through our clubhouse. Our preference would be that people continue to wear masks, and we would encourage their use, although we will not be enforcing this.
The seating policy within the clubhouse has also been removed, meaning that supporters can sit or stand wherever they choose. We will however be maintaining the queuing system at the bar to purchase drinks.
