On Saturday 29th January, we will make the short trip to Brentwood Town as we take them on in the Pitching In Isthmian North Division, kick-off 3pm.

Canvey aim to get back to winning ways, following a disappointing 2-1 defeat away to Maldon & Tiptree on Tuesday night. It's looking very tight at the top of the division, and with many teams on Canvey's tail, this is proving to be a very unforgiving division.

Brentwood now wait to take us on, and they are having a very impressive season under manager, Rod Stringer. Stringer has a wealth of experience, and he is putting this to good use over Brentwood. They have 4 games in hand over ourselves, and sit just 1 point outside the playoff places, so this is set to be another tough test for the Gulls.

The last time ourselves and Brentwood Town locked horns was earlier this season when we triumphed 4-2 at Park Lane, however this was pre-Stringer's takeover at Brentwood.
