On Saturday 4th December, we will welcome 2nd placed, Dereham Town to Park Lane as we compete in the Pitching In Isthmian North Division, 3pm kick-off. This is 1st vs 2nd, so this one should be a Christmas cracker!
The Magpies are having a very impressive season so far. They currently sit just 3 points behind ourselves. Dereham were last in action on Saturday, when they triumphed 3-0 at home to Coggeshall Town.
We come into this match on the back of a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to National League South outfit, Tonbridge Angels. The Gulls will be raring to go again in what's set to be an exciting match. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our fantastic fans that braved treacherous conditions and got behind the team. Your support is highly valued.
The last time ourselves and Dereham Town locked horns was in September 2020 in the Emirates FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round, where we triumphed 2-0 at Dereham.
We would also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone associated with Dereham Town a safe journey to and from the match.
Managers Thoughts
Chris Smith asked Brad Wellman what his thoughts were ahead of Saturdays match. Brad said, "December is the start of a big month for us. We have some tough games, and they don't come much bigger than 1st vs 2nd to kick the month off. It gives us a real opportunity to really see where we want to go this season, and has the potential to set us up nicely.
It's great to be playing at home again, as the boys in the shed really have been our 12th man. We've had a great weeks training and are excited to get back to league action on Saturday."

Clubhouse Information
The Premier League's 12:30 kick-off will be televised between West Ham United & Chelsea .
As previously mentioned; following the changes to the governments COVID restrictions, face coverings will now be optional when moving through our clubhouse. Our preference would be that people continue to wear masks, and we would encourage their use, although we will not be enforcing this.
The seating policy within the clubhouse has also been removed, meaning that supporters can sit or stand wherever they choose. We will however be maintaining the queuing system at the bar to purchase drinks.
