Our last game of the season sees Canvey travel to Wingate & Finchley. Already safe from relegation the gulls went down 3:0 to table topping Billericay Town on Bank Holiday Monday. Both teams only really have pride to play for on Saturday would be nice to finish a disapointing league season on a high.

Our Opponents
The Blues last time out lost 3:1 at Cheshunt but have gained a safe mid table position after seven match unbeaten run from beginning of February. Back in August Wingate were 3:2 winners at the Steves Taxis Stadium with a late injury time winner from Destiny Oladipo his second of the match.

The Gulls
Canvey avoided relegation with other results going our way before the Billericay Town defeat. On Bank Holiday Monday in front of a large crowd of travelling support the Gulls held out until the 75th minute before a Frankie Merrifield goal broke the deadlock. They added a second three minutes later before a last minute penalty completed the scoring.

Parking: 4 free Blue Badge spaces are available on the front forecourt. Car parking is also available in nearby residential streets. Please do not park in Finchley Rugby Club.

Public transport: The nearest Underground station is West Finchley Station (Northern Line - High Barnet branch). The station is approx 20 minute walk away from the Stadium. Alternatively, you can get the tube to East Finchley Station and get a bus (options including 263) heading North towards Barnet. Get off at Leisure Way stop just past the Leisure Park with Hollywood Bowl, McDonalds etc.
