Its seems like a long nine months but we have reached our last home game of the season against local rivals Billericay Town on Bank Holiday Monday. The Gulls have kept their place in the Premier Division despite a loss at Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday. A last minute equaliser from Chatham town saw Hendon confirmed in the last relegation spot.
Our Opponents
The Blues still have all to play for as they are two points behind Dartford in the chase for the automatic promotion spot and need the points to at least try to stay ahead of Horsham to secure home advantage for the playoffs. Former Gull Frankie Merrifield scored both goals in their latest win against Folkestone Invicta on Saturday.
The Gulls
Another poor result on Saturday against 10 man Dulwich did not matter in the end as other results went our way and we retained our place in the Premier Division. Its been a tough season to watch from the side lines with the only highlight being our win in the BBC Essex Senior Cup Final. Should be a good crowd on Monday for our final home game so lets see if we can put in a good performance for our loyal supporters.
Up the Gulls
