Canvey Island concluded their Pre Season preparations on Saturday as they secured a 4-2 win against Isthmian South East Side VCD Athletic.

Bradley Sach put the Gulls 1-0 up in the first half but the visitors replied to take the game in level at the break.

Canvey were more clinical in the second period however, with first Hubble getting them back in front before new signing Danny Parish arrived up with two Gulls on his debut in the team.

Despite the visitors pulling a goal back, they couldn't keep Canvey from finishing pre-season with a confidence boosting win.

All eyes now turn to the 13th August and our highly anticipated league opener against Horsham at the Movie Starr Stadium.
