On Friday 29th April, we are thrilled to welcome Brentwood Town to Park Lane as we compete in the Pitching In Isthmian North Playoff Final, kick-off 19:45. This is set to be another thrilling playoff tie, and another bumper crowd is expected, so ensure you get to Park Lane in plenty of time.

The winners of this match will be promoted to the Pitching In Isthmian Premier Division. We last competed in the Isthmian Premier League in 2016/17. Should this game be level at the end of 90 minutes, it'll go straight to extra-time & penalties if required.

We come into this match on the back of a superb 3-1 win at home to Felixstowe & Walton United in the playoff semi-final on Tuesday night. This game was watched by over 1,000 spectators and the atmosphere was the best Park Lane has seen for many years.

This is set to be another tough match, and one that we are tremendously excited for. Brentwood Town also had an impressive result after scoring a 90' minute winner to win 2-1 at home to Stowmarket in the semi-final!

In the two times we've met this season, we suffered a 2-0 defeat away, and triumphed 4-2 at home before Rod Stringer took over as manager. Brentwood Town have some familiar faces in their set up, such as George Allen, George Craddock & Glen Alzapiedi. We look forward to welcoming them to Park Lane once again.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone associated with Brentwood Town a safe journey to and from the game and an enjoyable stay. Chris Smith caught up with Brad Wellmen ahead of this match. Here's what Wellmen had to say: "It's the game that everyone at the club, players, management, volunteers, board & supporters have worked so hard and collectively towards this year. We all deserve to be in this final and we are even more thankful that it's at Park Lane too!

It's going to be a real tough game. Brentwood are a team we thought would be there at the end of the season. It's fitting really that it's 2nd play 3rd in the playoff final.

Hopefully it'll be another bumper crowd, and we can get the result that we've worked hard for all season.

Playing in front of the Yellow Army will certainly drive us to be at our very best."

Clubhouse Information
The clubhouse will open at 17:30 and will serve a range of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks.

As previously mentioned; following the changes to the governments COVID restrictions, face coverings will now be optional when moving through our clubhouse. Our preference would be that people continue to wear masks, and we would encourage their use, although we will not be enforcing this.

The seating policy within the clubhouse has also been removed, meaning that supporters can sit or stand wherever they choose. We will however be maintaining the queuing system at the bar to purchase drinks.
