On Tuesday 26th April, we will welcome Felixstowe & Walton United to Park Lane as we both compete in the Pitching In Isthmian North Division Playoff Semi-Final, kick-off at 19:45.
A bumper crowd is expected for this thrilling encounter, so we advise that fans arrive early. The winners of this match will progress to the playoff final on Friday 29th April, kick-off at 19:45. If we were fortunate enough to win, then we would host the winners of the Brentwood Town vs Stowmarket Town match.
Our league campaign has all come down to this. As we know, the playoffs are always exciting, however it can be incredibly nerve-racking for supporters of either side. This season has seen this division become increasingly competitive, and we expect the playoffs will be just the same.
This season we lost 2-0 away at Felixstowe and triumphed 1-0 at home. Felixstowe come into this match following a 3-0 win at home to Coggeshall Town on Saturday, and finished in 5th position. Whereas, we triumphed 2-1 away to Hashtag United and finished in 2nd position.
The Felixstowe squad includes ex-Gull Stuart Ainsley, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming him to Park Lane. We would like to wish everyone associated with Felixstowe & Walton United a safe journey to and from the match and we hope you enjoy your stay with us.
We are very excited to hear the mighty Yellow Army cheering the team on as you have done all season. A massive thank you for your superb support. Continue to get right behind the lads in this incredibly important match. Your support makes all the difference. Yellow Army!
Wellmen's Words
Brad Wellmen gave his thoughts ahead of this match, Brad said: "Pricey should be alright for Tuesday. This is going to be a tough game. We will do our homework on them. They will come in full of confidence and so are we, so it's going to be a great evening on Tuesday night. You've seen the fans all year. That place will be rocking on Tuesday night. As a team and as a group of fans, we've always said all year, one in, all in. We are collectively together. You've seen how well we receive them at the end of the game and thank them for their job. We think that if they bring the noise, we will get a bigger crowd on Tuesday, hopefully we can bring the performance and then we move on. It's not going to be an easy task. We will be ready for the challenge."

Clubhouse Information
As previously mentioned; following the changes to the governments COVID restrictions, face coverings will now be optional when moving through our clubhouse. Our preference would be that people continue to wear masks, and we would encourage their use, although we will not be enforcing this.
The seating policy within the clubhouse has also been removed, meaning that supporters can sit or stand wherever they choose. We will however be maintaining the queuing system at the bar to purchase drinks.
