On Saturday 9th October, we are due to travel to Hertfordshire to take on Ware in the Buildbase FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round, kick-off 3pm.

If this match is level at the end of 90 minutes, it'll go straight to penalties and the winner will progress to the next round.

Ware enter this stage of the competition following a bye. Whereas ourselves produced a very impressive 4-1 win at home to Coggeshall Town in the previous round.

Ware apply their trade in the Southern League Division One Central, which is the equivalent league to ourselves, and they currently occupy 6th position.

Ware come into this match following a 3-0 defeat away to Vanarama National League North side, Kidderminster Harriers in an FA Cup replay on Tuesday night. Ware held them to an impressive 1-1 draw just a few days before.

The Gulls come into this match following a very impressive 4-1 win away to Heybridge Swifts on Saturday. The Gulls are in fine form so far, and currently occupy 2nd position in the Isthmian North.

This is set to be a very exciting encounter between the two sides, and one that we cannot wait for!
