On Saturday 4th September, we make the journey to Bedfordshire to take on Bedford Town in the Emirates FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round, 3pm kick-off.

We progressed to this round following a 2-1 win at home to Waltham Abbey, whilst Bedford Town triumphed 3-0 at home to St Neots Town.

Bedford play at the equivalent level to ourselves, applying their trade in the Southern League Division One Central. Bedford have won 3 out of their opening 4 league matches, sitting high up in 5th position.

The last time ourselves and Bedford Town met was on 24/02/2004 in the Ryman Premier League, where we triumphed 3-1, thanks to goals from Neil Gregory (P) & Junior McDougald (2).

This is set to be an entertaining match, and one which both sides are very much looking forward to. The winners of this match will earn a place in the Emirates FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round.

If this match happens to be level at full-time, we will welcome Bedford Town to Park Lane on Tuesday night, where the tie will be decided.

Rail: Trains run to Bedford via London St Pancras International on a regular basis. The ground is approximately 3.6 miles from Bedford station.

Parking Information
When parking, please ensure that you park in the correct car park. There have been some recent incidents whereby people have been parking in the car park next door at Bedford FC. If they finish before the Bedford Town vs Canvey match, they will lock the gates, leaving you unable to retrieve your car.

Bedford Football Club accommodates a bar which shows live televised football on BT & Sky. It also offers a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

A range of hot food and drink will also be available.
