On Saturday 25th September, we welcome Coggeshall Town to Park Lane as we compete in the Buildbase FA Trophy First Qualifying Round, kick-off 3pm.

If this match happens to be level at the end of 90 minutes, then it'll go straight to penalties. The winners of this match will then progress to the next round.

The Seed Growers come into this match on the back of a 1-1 draw at home to league leaders, Grays Athletic. On the same day, we drew level with Hullbridge Sports at Park Lane.

The last time ourselves and Coggeshall Town met was in the 2019/20 season, where we lost 3-1 at their place. This result was eventually expunged due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Seed Growers have familiar faces within their squad, such as George Cocklin & Sam Bantick. Bantick has made a great start to life at Coggeshall, scoring quite a few goals already.

This is set to be an entertaining encounter between the two sides. We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone associated with Coggeshall a safe journey to and from Canvey, and we hope you enjoy your stay.

Clubhouse Information
The clubhouse will be open from 12:30. The Premier League early kick-off will be televised.

As previously mentioned; following the changes to the governments COVID restrictions, face coverings will now be optional when moving through our clubhouse. Our preference would be that people continue to wear masks, and we would encourage their use, although we will not be enforcing this.

The seating policy within the clubhouse has also been removed, meaning that supporters can sit or stand wherever they choose. We will however be maintaining the queuing system at the bar to purchase drinks.
