Match Preview

On Tuesday evening we welcome Great Wakering Rovers to Park Lane in the group stages of the Velocity Trophy, kick off at 19:45.

The Rovers are currently 6th in the BetVictor Isthmian League North and come into this match following a 3-1 win at home to Grays Athletic on Saturday.

This will be our 15th competitive match against the Great Wakering, with our record to date reading P 14, W 8, D 2, L 4, F 26, A 16.

Manager Mark Bentley intends to use the match to give much-needed minutes to a number of players in the squad, along with casting his eye over some exciting young prospects from Benfleet FC.

The rules of this year's competition mean that all five substitutions can be made, and if the match finishes as a draw then a penalty shootout will take place to determine who picks up an additional point.

Admission is priced at the reduced rate of £7.00 Adults, £4.00 Concessions (Over-60's, Students with Valid ID) and £1.00 Under-16's. This match is included for season ticket holders.
