We are pleased to announce another exciting addition to our pre-season schedule, with fellow Essex side, and play-off finalists, Brentwood Town set to visit Park Lane on Saturday 25th July with a 3pm kick-off.

The fixture promises to be an entertaining summer encounter as both clubs continue their preparations ahead of the 26/27 season. Supporters will have the opportunity to see the Gulls back in action on home soil, while management and players continue building sharpness and fitness during pre-season.

Brentwood Town arrive at Park Lane following an impressive campaign last season, where they enjoyed a strong run all the way to the play-off final. Their success throughout the season saw them establish themselves as one of the most competitive sides in their division, earning praise for their consistency, attacking football, and resilience during the promotion race. Reaching the final capped off an excellent year for the Blues and underlined the quality they will bring into this summer’s friendly fixture.

For Canvey Island, the match provides another valuable test against strong opposition as preparations intensify ahead of a competitive Isthmian North campaign. With two ambitious Essex clubs going head-to-head at Park Lane, fans can expect a competitive and entertaining afternoon of football.

Kick-off is scheduled for 3pm on Saturday 25th July at the Steve’s Taxis Stadium.
