Canvey FC lost one of its loyal supporters last week. Truly lovely man and true gent who we will all hugely miss, RIP Alec Bennett.

As most of you are aware we lost dad on Monday 15th July. Dad's life celebration will be held on Friday 1st August. Dad will be arriving home at 9.45am. Leaving aprox 10am to arrive at Pitsea Crematorium for his service at 10.30am. Everyone is welcome. Also to join our family at canvey island football club to celebrate Dad. Please wear your canvey island shirts if you have one, please wear your colours with pride, put a smile on dads face, he was a very special man. Thanks to everyone who has sent cards, and messages of love and support. It means so much to us all
