Reg has been part of Canvey Island FC for as far back as anyone can remember, taking on many roles including club secretary and photographer during this time.

Few people knew more about the history of the club than Reg, and the club owes a huge debt of gratitude to him for the countless hours he spent volunteering for over many decades.

Still paying the occasional visit to Park Lane despite in his more advanced years, it was always a pleasure to see him whenever he was able to get along to a match.

We would like to offer our sincere condolences to Reg's friends and family, and would like to express how well-liked and highly-regarded he was at Canvey Island FC.
