I am delighted to be manager of Canvey Island FC. I have so many fond memories here as this is where my football career started. I am very proud of the career I have had and I am really pleased to take on this new challenge.

I am sorry we have not given you lots of signings to look forward to and all you have been reading is players leaving.

Firstly I want to thank the players who have decided to leave for their time at the club and wish them good luck for the future. The majority of them wanted a fresh challenge and I cant do anything about that.

I am delighted that Bobby Mason, Oliver Parsons and Finlay Dorrell are committed and I am desperately trying to keep Elliot Ronto. I can assure fans that myself, Assistant Manager Ryan and Finner's have been extremely busy seeing players and recruiting the best that we can. I have agreed with 9 players but do not want to name them yet.

This will be a new young team for you to support. I am confident and expect them to give you everything and be deserving of your support.

We start back training on 28th June and I am sure we will be naming new players by then. Stick with us.

We will shortly be announcing our pre-season schedule giving you a chance to see the new squad in action.
