Our last two games have only got us one point but the effort and performance deserved a lot more.
The first half at Dartford showed we can be a threat to any defence and after scoring two goals we were extremely unlucky not to get a third.To be fair in the second half Dartford were more of a threat and after conceding two early goals I felt we done well to hold on and we’re still an occasional threat to score again.
We then go to league leaders Brentwood and put in the best display of the season.
We lost 1-0 to a 98th minute goal after the referee put up a 5 minute added time.
The players were fantastic,all of them putting in their best performances so I really feel for them not getting something from the game.Again Lady Luck wasn’t there after 2 of our strikers getting injured which of course didn’t help our attacking options.
So looking at our position in the league isn’t pleasant but it’s football and we have to get on with it and be together and work hard to deserve a win.
