Goalkeeper Receives International Recognition

Goalkeeper Lamar Johnson has been called up by St. Lucia for their upcoming CONCACAF Nations League matches.

Johnson's tremendous form for the Gulls so far this season has been rewarded with his first international call up. He will now be in contention to earn his first caps against Dominican Republic on Saturday 16th November and Montserrat on Tuesday 19th November.

Both matches will take place at The Darren Sammy Cricket Ground in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia.

The match against Montserrat could see Lamar come up against two-former Canvey players in Bradley Woods-Garness and Dean Mason, both of whom also earned their first international caps while at Park Lane.

As a result, we will be without Lamar's services for our upcoming matches against Brentwood Town, Great Wakering Rovers and Basildon United.

We congratulate Lamar on this richly-deserved honour and we wish him the very best of luck in the slightly warmer climate of the Caribbean!
