Canvey Island have been handed a home draw in the 2nd Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup, where they will host Isthmian League North side Felixstowe & Walton Utd at the Steves Taxis Stadium.

The Seasiders are familiar opponents to the Gulls, with the two having been in the same league during the Gulls promotion winning season in 21/22 season.
They met a total of three times that season, with their last encounter a playoff semi-final at Park Lane, which the Gulls won 3-1.

Felixstowe have made a positive start to their league campaign, with 6 points from a possible 9, and they reached this round after a comprehensive 5-1 victory at home to Leverstock Green in the last round.

This match will be played on Saturday 14th August with a 3pm KO scheduled.
Our previously scheduled league match with Cray Valley PM has now been pushed back to Tuesday 8th October due to both sides progressing in the competition.
