The board of directors at Canvey Island Football Club would like to place on record their thanks to all supporters who recently chipped in to a supporter organised fundraiser at our recent home match against Folkestone Invicta.

These generous donations are much appreciated and will be used to fund for ground maintenance and improvements. We will communicate to supporters where this money has been spent when allocated appropriately.

"Thank you all once again to everyone who chipped into the fundraiser for 'Millwall' Dave to help muck in for the equipment needed for ground maintenance over the course of the season. The work Dave and his team put in is second to none and keeps football alive at Park Lane over a long and winding season, every season.
It's a truly special effort from the supporters of the club to have raised in excess of £136 on the day, something which our brilliant squad and management staff sought to double. I will look to communicate with the board where this money has been spent when allocated".
