Canvey Island FC Announce New Sponsorship Deal with Oikos

Canvey Island FC are delighted to announce that Oikos Storage Ltd is renewing its sponsorship deal for a further two years.

Oikos’ long term involvement with the Club has supported the first team and the youth teams as well as the refurbishment of the clubhouse. The club has also developed more community services in recent years including a short mat bowls team, a disabled Soccability team while supporting local schools, the police and local charities in the clubhouse.

Oikos has been located on Canvey Island for over 80 years and continue make an ongoing contribution to the Island’s economic development attracting jobs and investment into to the area. Oikos supplies fuel to Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted and petrol stations that supply millions of roads users across the South East and is committed to upholding and setting industry leading environmental and safety standards and its long-term stewardship of the local area.

Canvey Island FC chairman John Batch said: “Canvey Island FC would like to thank Oikos for their continued support and hope to use it to further develop all areas of the football club and our continued involvement with the local community”

Tony Woodward, General Manager of Oikos Storage Ltd, said: “Oikos is proud to have supported the Gulls over the past six years and helped the club in its ambitions to play a role in the community as well as on the park. The work they do has made Canvey Island a
very special place to work and play”
