After an impressive FA Trophy victory over Grays Athletic on Saturday, Garry Kimble’s side will be looking to carry that momentum into the league and make it another positive afternoon for the travelling supporters.

The Gulls couldn't have asked for a better way to head into Monday's fixture, producing an outstanding 4-1 victory at home to Grays Athletic in the FA Trophy on Saturday.

Mitchell May was once again at the heart of the action, scoring twice to continue his excellent start to the season. May opened the scoring with a header from George Scales' cross before adding his second when he capitalised on a defensive mistake to lob the Grays goalkeeper. Conor Hubble also got on the scoresheet, converting a free-kick to give the Gulls a commanding advantage, while Evans Kouassi completed the scoring in stoppage time after being played through by Elliot Ronto. Grays did pull a goal back after half-time, but the Gulls remained in control and deservedly progressed with a comprehensive 4-1 win.

Bowers & Pitsea will be looking to bounce back after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Waltham Abbey in the FA Trophy. The result brought their cup campaign to an end and means the hosts will now be able to concentrate fully on their league programme. After the disappointment of Saturday's result, Bowers will be determined to respond quickly on home soil and will know that a local derby against Canvey provides plenty of motivation.

Bowers & Pitsea have their roots in Bowers United, which was founded in 1946 by Bert Salmon. The club initially played at Gun Meadow in Pitsea before eventually moving to their current home on Crown Avenue. The ground was opened in 1975, and the club later adopted the name Bowers & Pitsea following a merger with Pitsea FC in 2004.

From A13:
Take the Pitsea exit from the A13. At the roundabout, take the first exit, passing Tesco on your left. At the next roundabout, take the third exit towards Ashlyns.
Continue straight over the following roundabout, which is only around 20 metres away. At the next roundabout, take the second exit, then take the first left into Kenneth Road. Follow Kenneth Road to the end, turn right and then immediately left into the stadium grounds. The visitors' car park is at the far end of the clubhouse building.

From A127:
Take the Wickford exit and take the third exit at the roundabout. Continue straight over the next two roundabouts. At the third roundabout, turn left towards Ashlyns and then follow the same route described above towards Kenneth Road and Crown Avenue.

From Canvey Island:
Take the A130 towards the A13, then follow the signs for Pitsea. Once on the A13, follow the directions above.
If the main stadium car park is full, additional parking is available at the Eversley Centre on Crest Avenue. Supporters can follow the pathway through the end of the car park into Crown Avenue, which leads to the ground entrance.

By Bus:
There are several local bus options serving the area around the stadium. Routes 1A, 28 and B3 serve stops close to Bowers & Pitsea FC, with Kenneth Road approximately a seven-minute walk from the ground and Wilsner, Felmoresaround six minutes away.
One option for supporters arriving at Pitsea Broadway is to take the B3 towards Felmores, alighting around Wilsner/Kenneth Road before making the short walk to the stadium.

Supporters are advised to check the latest bus and train timetables before travelling, particularly as this fixture falls on the Bank Holiday Monday, when services may operate to a revised timetable.

By Train:
The nearest railway station is Pitsea, which is served by c2c services on the London, Tilbury and Southend line. Trains run from London Fenchurch Street towards Shoeburyness, with Pitsea being one of the stations on the route.

From Pitsea station, the Len Salmon Stadium is approximately a 30-minute walk. Alternatively, supporters can make the short journey towards Pitsea Broadway and continue by local bus before walking the final few minutes to the ground.

For supporters travelling from Canvey Island, Pitsea is particularly convenient, with the station providing a straightforward rail connection to the area.
