Canvey Island Football Club is delighted to announce the appointments of Harry Palmer as the club's new Vice Chairman, and Keith Sinfield as a Director ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The appointments mark an exciting new chapter for the Gulls as the club continues to strengthen its leadership structure both on and off the pitch. Harry Palmer brings a wealth of experience and commitment to the Club, and his addition to the board reflects the club's ambition to continue progressing in the years ahead. Keith Sinfield’s deep understanding of the club's values, combined with his commitment to its future growth, makes him a fantastic addition to the board as a Director . Keith's experience, and passion for the Club will be invaluable as the Gulls look ahead to an exciting new era both on and off the pitch.
Both Harry and Keith’s expertise are expected to play a key-role in supporting the club's long-term development. Working closely alongside the Chairman, board members and management team, they will help drive strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the club's operations, facilities, and squad.
Speaking on the appointments, the club's Chairman, John Batch said:
"Keith is someone I have known for over 30 years and is a local business man who is keen to get involved and help the club to push on and Harry started to get Involved last season having played for canvey and winning supporters player that season and has enthusiasm and drive to push the club forward"
