Match Preview

On Saturday we begin our pre-season preparations with a friendly against National League South side East Thurrock United at The Frost Hire Stadium, kick off at 12:00.

The Rocks have started pre-season in goalscoring form, winning 4-2 against fellow Bostik North opponents Aveley and East Thurrock United.

The East Thurrock squad could include a number of players who will be familiar to Canvey supporters including Ben Marlow, Jack Simmons, Jack Giddens, Sammy Knott, Sam Higgins and Ashley Miller, while a number of the Canvey squad have also turned out for John Coventry's side.

Admission is priced at £8.00 Adults, £5.00 Concessions (over-60's, students with valid ID) and £1.00 U12's.

After the match we will be showing the Belgium v England World Cup 3rd/4th Place Playoff match which kicks off at 15:00. Due to a private function in the evening the clubhouse will be divided at 15:30, with the remainder of the match being shown in the side nearest the changing rooms.
