Canvey Island FC invite teams to participate in our annual Mini Soccer Youth Tournament, which will be held at our Frost Hire Stadium home on the 11th and 12th of May 2019.

This year’s Tournament has once again been kindly sponsored by Oikos Storage Ltd and we will be celebrating our 11th birthday of this very popular event.

Season 2018/19 age groups will apply. Normal mini soccer rules will be followed (please ensure you are aware of these for your age group) and all referee’s used will be FA Qualified.

There is ample car parking at the Stadium with full facilities being available to clubs taking part, including our state of the art clubhouse which opened in December 2016, Hot & Cold Food Bar, Tea Bar, Bouncy Castles (Subject to the weather), Face Painter and other stalls etc.

Once again this year our professional sports photography team THP Sport Imaging will be on site over both days taking action shots / team photo’s that will be available to purchase on the day, or online post the event.

The entry fee for each mini soccer team is once again £50.

Teams in the U7’s and U8’s age groups will participate in an exhibition only event, following the FA guidelines. All players in these age groups will receive a medal for taking part. Squads for these age groups can consist of a maximum of 10 players.

Age groups U9’s and U10’s will participate in a league structure followed by a knock-out stage (Competitive). Squads for these age groups can consist of a maximum of 12 players.

Payment can also be paid by bank transfer, please contact Chris Sutton for more details.

Upon receipt of your entry we will forward to you a confirmation of entry, event details and a team registration sheet(s). A full order of play will be available on the day. All morning games kick off at 9am while afternoon games kick off at 1pm, please take your team registration sheets to the registration area 30 minutes prior to kick off.

Saturday May 11th - AM U7’s (5v5)
Saturday May 11th - PM U9’s (7v7)
Sunday May 12th - AM U8’s (5v5)
Sunday May 12th - PM U10’s (7v7)

Last year our tournament attracted over 120 teams from all over East Anglia, London, Hertfordshire, Kent and Surrey. We look forward to seeing you at what is a very enjoyable football event that gives children the chance to play at an excellent non-league football stadium. Please book early to avoid disappointment as spaces fill up very quickly!
