Brightlingsea are currently 20th in their division and drew 1-1 away to Whitehawk on Saturday. They include former-Canvey midfielder Harry Morgan in their ranks.

The draw, which took place at Wembley Stadium earlier today, paired us against the R's for the first time in a competitive fixture. Our only previous encounter came in a friendly at The Frost Hire Stadium in 2009 when goals from Leon Gordon, James Rowe, Richard Halle, Ian Luck, Jay Curran, and Craig Davidson earned us a 6-0 victory.

Brightlingsea Regent were formed in 2005 when Regent Park Rangers merged with Brightlingsea United, the latter being a regular opponent of ours in the Essex Senior League between 1975-1990.

The tie will take place on Saturday 27th October, kick off at 15:00.
